The launch of vivo X300 FE outside China happened a month back, and a few days back, the company brought out the smartphone in India, together with X300 Ultra, in an event held in New Delhi. The X300 FE is available in three variants; these include Noir Black, Lilac Purple, and Urban Olive. As the name suggests, the Urban Olive variant will be exclusive to India initially. We have a chance to hold onto one. Let’s get started with an unboxing of the device.
In terms of packaging, the X300 FE comes packed in a box similar to the other variants and also includes a case that protects it from any damages.
The vivo X300 FE comes with a 6.31-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen of 2,640 x 1,216 pixels resolution at its front side. The screen is covered with Schott Xensation Core glass, with a hole in which there is a 50MP front-facing camera along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

At the rear of the device is a camera module, otherwise known as a visor, which spans horizontally along the entire width of the rear panel. The camera module is a matte camera module and consists of three cameras: 50MP primary, 50MP periscope telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide cameras – accompanied by an adaptive zoom flash.
Like all the colors from vivo, the back shell of the vivo X300 FE Urban Olive features glass coating; however, it has Metal Sand AG anti-glare texture and does an outstanding job of not getting fingerprints.
The color of the vivo X300 FE’s Urban Olive changes based on lighting and reflective angle, yet it is certainly deeper than the X300 Ultra’s Victory Green. Of course, taste varies, but we find both designs quite appealing for bringing some fresh and funky vibe into each range.

The aluminum frame of the vivo X300 FE Urban Olive is color-coordinated with its back panel, giving the smartphone an elegant appearance. It also sports a matt texture that not only makes the device smudge-proof but also makes it appear luxurious. The power button and volume buttons on the right side of the smartphone are also responsive.
The X200 FE design was appealing, and we have the same sentiment towards the X300 FE. The phone feels sturdy and luxurious in the hands and has an ergonomic design that makes handling with one hand effortless. In addition, due to its newly designed back camera setup, the X300 FE does not wobble on a flat surface like the X200 FE.
