- The sale is scheduled to start May 9th, with early access before for Plus and Black members.

The upcoming Sasa Lele deal at Flipkart has finally been announced, and the offer that has made many people interested at the very outset is the deal for the Google Pixel 10. Launched at the price of Rs 79,999, the phone is going to be offered at an effective price of Rs 59,999, once the sale kicks off from May 9. Considering the kind of year that has passed, the discount surely sounds interesting.
In case you are wondering why I am using the term “effective price,” it is because the current price tag of the Pixel 10 is Rs 74,999. However, Flipkart has mentioned the price at Rs 59,999, which will be the final price after the application of all the discounts. This price can be a combination of some basic discounts along with a 10 percent instant discount for buyers who use the SBI Credit Card. Further details will be available once the sale starts.

However, just by bringing the pricing close to Rs 60,000, the deal has made the Pixel 10 relevant again. At launch, it was priced at par with flagships; however, it did not really match the offerings of its peers.
It’s been a matter of offering something well-rounded than having some of the best numbers on paper for the Pixel 10. One of its highlights lies in the fact that its software environment is neat, minimalistic, and intuitive. On-time updates, straightforward access to functions, proper integration of things like voice typing and picture editing into their natural habitat make up for an almost perfect user interface.
There is also a number of sacrifices made, however. It is fast enough for most things but definitely falls short when it comes to heavy gaming sessions or intense multitasking scenarios. As for the battery, it can get one through a day without any problems.

This is when the pricing factor comes into play. As far as Rs 79,999 is concerned, one would immediately start considering comparisons with high-end smartphones offered by Samsung and Apple with more hardware or processing power. When it comes down to around Rs 60,000, these kinds of comparisons can be toned down quite considerably. This kind of pricing makes it easy to consider purchasing the smartphone because at such a price, it offers much more than many other phones. Google may well be attempting to increase their market share through such pricing strategies.
Since the Rs 59,999 deal will be a floor pricing deal and not a flat discount, it is always best to wait for the actual date of the sale to confirm just what kind of discounts and savings will be made available. Should it be a deal involving a trade in, then it is only useful for people who own a smartphone to trade in. In case of bank deals, it should be known which card works.
If you are subscribed to Flipkart Plus or Black, then you should avail yourself of the fact that you will have access to the deal even before the sale starts
