Lenovo Confirms RTX 5070 12GB Gaming Laptops – Powerful New Machines Coming Soon

Gaming laptop enthusiasts in India have something to look out for, especially given the latest news from Lenovo, which has confirmed that new gaming laptops are on the way, all powered by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 (12GB) GPU, promising a major boost in performance for gaming and content creation enthusiasts.

According to recent reports, it appears that Lenovo is planning to launch several new gaming laptops under their well-known Legion and LOQ brands, all of which will be powered by the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. What’s even more exciting is the boost to 12GB VRAM, which is roughly 50% more than the standard 8GB variants found in most gaming laptops today.

New Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX Processor

In addition to the powerful graphics, the laptops will also come with the new Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor. This is part of the high-performance Intel Core series labeled HX. These processors are meant for heavy usage and gaming.

The processor will run at around 55W and is thus appropriate for gaming laptops that need powerful processors.

Legion Pro 5
Legion Pro 5i
LOQ 15
LOQ 17

Note that they are not brand new devices, but rather upgraded versions of their current devices with better hardware and performance capabilities.

Performance and Gaming Experience

The RTX 5070, a laptop GPU, promises a major leap in gaming performance. The 115W TGP ensures a high frame rate in games, providing a smooth gaming experience.

The new NVIDIA GPU also promises to feature the latest GDDR7 memory, which enhances performance and efficiency. This is a major advantage for gamers who wish to experience future-proof performance.

However, reports also suggest that the performance of the 8GB and 12GB variants of the new NVIDIA GPU may differ, depending on the clock speeds used in each model.
