Three new Surface computers have just been introduced by Microsoft, which include the Surface Laptop 8. However, at the same time, the new Surface Laptop 13 inches has been announced to launch in this year with a lower cost.
Three new Surface devices have been launched by Microsoft today. Each of these features Intel’s new Panther Lake architecture, the most powerful of these devices being the Surface Laptop 8 due to the presence of an optional Core Ultra X7 368H processor and the Arc B390 graphics chip. The Surface Pro 12, on the other hand, comes with up to the Core Ultra 7 366H processor.

Besides, the smaller Surface Laptop 13-inch model now features the Core Ultra 5 325 processor. For the time being, the newly-launched Surface Laptop 13-inch model is available for $1,499 with 16GB of RAM. Significantly more expensive than its predecessor, the Surface Laptop stands out from the other model powered by Snapdragon processor with a 25% brighter screen and up to 24GB of RAM.
As mentioned in a blog post by Microsoft, there is going to be a less expensive Surface Laptop too. However, unlike the previous Surface Laptop SE, this will not be a separate product but a less expensive version of the Surface Laptop 13-inch model.
In particular, the company is planning to launch a device that will have as little as 8 GB of RAM. Although it is similar to the MacBook Neo in this respect, the prices of these devices are far from being similar as well. For some unknown reason, Microsoft will sell their device that will be equipped with only 8 GB of RAM at the price of $1,299, which is almost twice as much as the MacBook Neo costs (currently $589 on Amazon).
